Faculty Affiliate Dr. Lauren Prather

Dr. Lauren Prather is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, in the School of Global Policy and Strategy. She received her Ph.D. in political science from Stanford University in 2015. Her research interests include political behavior and public opinion, the politics of foreign aid, the domestic determinants of foreign policy, the politics of the Middle East and North Africa, and experimental methods. Her work has or will appear in Comparative Political Studies (“The Effects of Authoritarian Iconography: An Experimental Test”) and Election Law Journal(“Enfranchising Displaced Voters: Lessons from Bosnia-Herzegovina”).
